5月28日(土)午後7時から、51回目の日英オンライン交流会がありました。
8名の参加者が事前に与えられたテーマ「街中で見かけてビックリしたものはありますか？あなたの国で街中でよく見られるものは何ですか？」等について日本語で20分、英語で20分、自由に話しました。
最後は、Word Cloudと使って振り返り、毎回恒例、笑顔で記念撮影。
終了後、参加者の一人のゆみこさん主催で「プチ文化交流会」がありました。「西向く侍」って知ってますか？
初参加の方は、ボツワナ出身のALTでした！

On 28 May, from 7pm, we hold the 51st Ena Language Exchange.
8 participants talked freely for 20 minutes in Japanese and 20 mins in English, based on the themes given to them in advance, such as “What were you surprised to see on the street? What is common to see on the street in your country?”. At the end of the session, we took a photo with a big smile, as we always do.
Afterwards, there was a ‘petit cultural exchange’ organized by one of the participants, Yumiko. Do you know what a ‘west-facing samurai’ is?
Our first participant was an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) from Botswana!
