8 NUCB MBA students came to Ena to learn about SDGs at the company and the school on 14 Oct.
This class, which is intensive course, focused on the environmental aspect in SDGs. With Ena City International Exchange Association, from last year they studied at “RICOH’s Ena Forest” in RICOH Elemex. On 30 Sep they studied the concept of SDGs and did fieldwork in Ena.
Poff. Goi Hoe Chin brought 8 students to RICHO Elemex and listened to the presentation about SDGs by RICOH HQ, and then Mr. Hirohide Soga, 62 yrs, a staff of “RICOH Ena’s Forest Nakasendo Satoyama Council” taught them the forest conservation and the examples of environmental education.
Next, they studied the current situation and outcome of developing forest walking around the forest. They were thinking information transmission and the possibility of the environmental education using the RICOH’s 360 degree view digital camera. After that, they went to Ena Kita JHS and gave interview to the students and teachers about the example of environmental education.
8 students will write the proposal for conservation and good use of the forest and on 9 Dec, the final day, give the final presentation.
Simon Peter Cook, 48 yrs, said “I would like to show the better idea from the inspiration I felt from the forest.”
