12月19日(土)午後7時から、14回目の日英オンライン交流会がありました。事務局長が欠席だったので、名商大留学生のペルラがホストを務めてくれました。
参加者は4人と少なめでしたが、「あなたの国の国旗の色が表す意味は？」「2020年にあなたがしたことの中で、一番、変わったこと/いつもとは違うこと、は何ですか？」など、事前に与えられたテーマを基本に、日本語で20分、英語で20分、自由に話しました。メキシコの国旗は、日の丸と違って色んな絵があって、簡単には描けませんねぇ。
次回は1月9日で、新年最初のセッションです。また皆さんに会えるのを楽しみにしています。

We had the fourteenth “Ena Language Exchange” session at 7PM on 19 December. I could not make it so Perla, NUCB MBA student, was a host. Thank you so much.
Only 4 people joined this time but they enjoyed talking about “What are the meanings of colors in your national flag?” and “What is the most unusual thing you have done in 2020?” Firstly they talked in Japanese for twenty minutes and then switched the language into English for twenty minutes. You know, the Mexican national flag is difficult to draw because there are many images inside compared with Japanese one. The next session will be held at 7PM on 9 January, which is the first session in 2021. I’m looking forward to seeing them again.
